Mission Briefing
If you’ve been putting off translating your WordPress site, the price tags on existing tools are probably why. The leading WordPress translation plugin options — WPML, Polylang Pro, TranslatePress — all run $89–$99 per year, every year. For a personal project, a small business site, or a client build with a tight budget, that’s a recurring cost that’s hard to justify.
LinguaPress v2.0.0 is a WordPress translation plugin built for people who want a complete, professional multilingual setup without an annual subscription. You pay $39 once and you own it. No renewal reminders, no feature locks behind a higher tier, no per-site fees buried in the fine print. Just a clean, capable plugin that handles translation from install to published in a workflow that actually makes sense.
This page walks through exactly how it works, what it includes, what it doesn’t do yet, and how it stacks up against the alternatives. If you want to skip ahead, the buy link is at the bottom.

How LinguaPress Works
The LinguaPress workflow is built around a single, organized dashboard rather than a collection of scattered settings screens. Here’s what using it actually looks like.
Start from the Dashboard
When you activate LinguaPress, the main dashboard gives you a full picture of your site’s translation status at a glance — active languages, overall completion percentages, and quick access to every core function. Nothing is buried three menus deep.

Check Your Progress with Stats Cards
Four summary cards across the top of the dashboard surface the numbers that matter: how many languages are active, overall translation progress, total words translated, and how much you’ve saved in API costs through translation memory. These update in real time as you work.
Unlike bloated alternatives, this wordpress translation plugin uses custom database tables for clean storage.
Unlike other wordpress multilingual plugin options, LinguaPress includes translation memory at no extra cost.

Manage All Languages in One Table
Every language you’ve added appears in a single languages table with per-language progress bars, word counts, and status indicators. You can see at a glance which languages are complete, which are in progress, and which haven’t been started. Actions for editing, exporting, or removing a language are right there in the row.

Add Any Language in Seconds
Clicking Add Language opens a search modal. Type any language name or code, select it from the filtered results, and it’s added to your project. LinguaPress supports 100+ languages, so whether you need Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, or Swahili, it’s in the list.

Auto-Translate, Then Review
If you want to use machine translation as a starting point, LinguaPress can auto-translate any piece of content with a single click via Google Translate, DeepL, or LibreTranslate (your choice of API). Auto-translated segments are highlighted so you can review and refine them before publishing. You’re never stuck guessing which strings came from a machine and which you’ve already approved.
If you need a wordpress translation plugin without annual renewal fees, LinguaPress is it.
If you need a wordpress multilingual plugin with a side-by-side editor and bulk auto-translate, this is it.

Bulk Translate Untranslated Content
Starting a new language for a site with hundreds of posts? The bulk auto-translate feature sends all untranslated content through your chosen translation API in one operation. A progress display shows per-language status so you can see what’s been processed and what’s queued. Translation memory means any previously translated phrases are pulled from cache rather than re-sent to the API, cutting costs significantly on large sites.
Quick Actions and Recent Activity
The dashboard also surfaces a Recent Activity feed and Quick Actions panel so you can jump back into any in-progress translation, see what changed last, or kick off common tasks without navigating through menus. It’s the kind of quality-of-life detail that makes a tool feel finished.

What You Get for $39
Here’s everything included in a single LinguaPress license. No tier system, no feature gating — this is the complete plugin.
Every wordpress translation plugin should include translation memory — most charge extra for it.

What LinguaPress Does NOT Do
LinguaPress is a capable WordPress translation plugin for most standard use cases, but there are three things it doesn’t handle yet. These are worth knowing before you buy.
- No WordPress Multisite support. LinguaPress is designed for single-site installations. Multisite compatibility is on the roadmap but not in the current release.
- No WooCommerce product translation. Product titles, descriptions, and checkout strings for WooCommerce stores are not currently supported. If WooCommerce translation is your primary need, this is not the right tool yet.
- No visual page builder integration. Content built with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, or similar builders may not be fully editable through the LinguaPress translation editor. Standard WordPress block editor and classic editor content works without issues.
These are real limitations, stated plainly. If your project falls outside these constraints, LinguaPress delivers everything you need at a price that’s hard to beat.
This wordpress translation plugin supports Google Translate, DeepL, and LibreTranslate out of the box.
